MiniMap: Your Floating Interactive Map
MiniMap is an Android app developed by TEQTIC that provides a floating, resizable map that is always on top of other apps. MiniMap allows you to move and resize the map freely over other apps, and it displays speed in km/h, mi/h, knots, compass or movement direction, traffic layer, altitude in meters or feet, and latitude/longitude. You can choose from normal, terrain or satellite map layers, and tap to pause or iconify.
MiniMap automatically adjusts the zoom with speed and is highly configurable. You can show/hide it from the widget or notification. The inspiration for this app comes from games where there is always a map in the corner to reference. The app is free to use, but the premium unlock allows you to access all locked options on all of your devices, forever.
